Took the car on Mulholand and 23 this past Saturday... IT WAS AMAZING.... I love this car so much... I found a body shop close by that would fix my tire rubbing problem for $125.00 but after talking to the guy I realized that I could probably do it myself... so I used the dremel and cut off some metal and used pliers to bend back a part and then finished with sanding the sharp parts down... done... I went to Toyota to have an extra key made only to find out that Toyota no longer has my key making code available... in fact when they looked up my VIN number he asked if the car was made out of country... always something... so now they can maybe look at my ignition switch and if it was original then I can have a key made... if not then I would have to replace my ignition and have new keys made... I should now contact a automobile locksmith... I was able to order those rear pillar poll screws from Toyota... Also ordered some deep amber glasses off e-bay for driving... I love them...

So Calvin text me back and said that the glass guy replaced that decal from the old window... I was able to find an old pic and low and behold.. That same decal... I felt really bad... I apologized to Calvin... Under the circumstances I assumed the worst... On the other hand I'm happy to know that my car was not driven to Vegas... Tomorrow she goes in for a Viper alarm system...

Decided to do one thing every weekend to improve the car... baby steps... Washed the car today and installed new wiper blades... Talked to the seat belt guy and going to his place to have him install the seat belts... 8AM Saturday... He also thinks he has screws that are now mysteriously missing from my car...

Well... traffic getting to Calvins shop... 15 minutes before ariving he calls to tell me that the car is not ready and it's in primer... I told him politly that I'm picking up the car regardless... He said the car was at the shop... I told him have the paint shop address ready cause I'm going there... he told me he would have the car delivered to his place... after waiting nearly 3 hours... during that time he handed me back the seat belts he could not install.. the glove box loose... and told me that the speedometer was not fixed... in fact the only thing he did fix was removing side window tint, replacing front wind shield and remove sterio but pooring cover up...  The car finally showed up, with a few body pannels missing that he screwed back together... paint was better and acceptable... during this time he also tried to gte me to wait a couple hours to paint the car... I am soooo pissed off with Calvin it's hard for me to write this... and to top things off... I fo...

8 weeks, ( 56 days ) ... that's how long Calvin has had my car... I'm going to pick it up in a few hours and I'm nervous ... I'm expecting the worse... I'm ready for him to tell me the car is still at the body shop and will be a few more days... even though he knows I'm coming this morning and could easily call me... Thats how little confidence I have in him... I'm also expecting the speedometer to not be fixed... But I am going over there with a title and registration in hand and I'm getting my car back one way or another... This sucks it has come down to this... Oh well...

Talked to Calvin today... Said my car will be ready Monday or Tuesday... I'll be in Vegas... but Picking up the car Friday morning would be nice and driving it to UF1 at TQ Satuday is the goal... I hope the car is acceptable at worst.... I sent funds for the LSD, tighter steering rack, Lightweight flywheel, and stage 1 clutch.... Dropped off signed title to AAA the other day.... Talking to matrixgarage about LSD, clutch and flywheel... very helpful dude who is pricing things out now... No news on the condition of the car.... saw Calvin this weekend but no news... I just want to get my car back.... this is taking way too long for this paint job...
