OK... so that battery is not going to work... Long story , but talked to a tech guy at the Braille factory for the battery but a 15 lb one will fit my needs... so I now have to see if I can return it under my warranty and get the new one... I guess I will still be saving 24.5 pounds...

6 pound battery installed... Old Optima Red top was 39.5 pounds... 33.5 lb loss :)

Chris at West End Alignment recommended this small shop... located about 1 mile from West End... Ming is the head guy and Tetsu is the mechanic... 310-630-1999

YELP Review I just wrote.... Took the car to West End Alignment... Darin and Chris were both extremely friendly and professional... It's very hard to find this kind of pride in workmanship these days... I had an issue with my car pulling to the right as well as I wanted more camber up front... My regular shop had my car in there alignment place 4 times over the past 6 month and could never solve this issue... They finally told me that my frame was probably bent... My regular shop also told me that it was impossible to add more camber because of spacing issues with the strut... I had to buy wheel spacers, they didn't fit, yada, yada, long story.... Darin not only found the problem causing the car to pull to the right , solved it and was also able to add more camber to the front... I live in thousand Oaks and will always make the drive here for any suspension work... The problem was the tire... Preferred Auto took the tire off the wheel and moved them left to r...

So car is running fine... Mark didn't do anything, just magically went away.... The battery will fit but now requires a brace to hold the front two inter-cooler mounts... so probably next Friday I will try to do it myself.... Track was Willow Springs, streets counter clock wise... it was fun but not as fun as Horse Thief mile... best time was a 1:38.6 ... started day with a 1:45

So I drove the car early Sunday morning through the canyons like every Sunday morning… First of all… when you drive the car normally, no problems at all… But when you start to push it, Like I do every Sunday morning… after a minute or two it starts to putter and looses power… feels like it’s not getting enough fuel ??? …. It happens in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear… I then slow down a bit and after a couple of minutes it drives normal again,,, I then start to push it and the problem comes back… This problem has never happened before… Im going to Willow Springs this coming Saturday and I really, really, really want to solve this problem before then… please... I was thinking that I can pick up the car any morning and test drive it to work if that helps you guys… ??? Car back from shop.... Oil and filter changed... all fluids checked... Fuel filter replaced.... Idle setting adjusted....

I don't notice any difference in sound... maybe a slight wind noise that sounds like a Turbo winding up... Does a Super charger make that noise ? Also the alarm system still works :) Dropped the car off for an oil and filter change... also going to have the fuel filter replaced... and there going to check the "output injector pulse" which was faulty on my old ESC and sounds like same with the newer ESC.... which leads me to believe the problem is not with the ESC but a wire... He's also going to adjust my idle ...1500 is a little too high....

Removed the carpet and insulation between cabin and motor... was 14.4 pounds of dead weight... can't wait to hear what it sounds like tomorrow... Also killed the passenger side door buzzer... need to check if I didn't accidentally disable the alarm sensor...lol
