88 MR2 SC

OK... so I now have new front and rear sway bars... a rear torsion bar and front and rear Poly motor mounts... I thought the kit I bought was for all 4 mounts but guess not.... Anthony said my passenger side mount is weak, but Scot at Matrix Garage said he is in the process of making side Poly mounts... Also a few bushings are wearing out, but luckily I have a set of Poly I will have him install next time... They also replaced a leaking oil filter adapter O-ring.... Also my rear strut cartridge was loose creating a thumping noise... Also did a oil and filter change...

Dropped car off at Preferred Auto... now just walking distance :)  They are going to service the car as well as installing front and rear sway bars... rear strut bar... and polyurethane motor mounts... I told Anthony Ihave to get her back by this weekend... 

Another beautiful run through Mulholland Drive and 23 this morning... 8AM Sunday seems to be a great time... maybe even 7AM during the summer... Took my tire pressure down to 28 when cold... car seemed more planted... Was thinking that since I now want to get the g-Force Rival by BFGoodrich why not just run these at 28 all the time and let them wear out faster...

Inner passenger wheel well cover now replaced... no more flapping in the wind... I was also worried that they did not install my Koni Yellow shocks... but someone in the forums explained that the yellow part goes on the inside and you can't see it... Also registered for Willow springs on March 8th for the Horse Thief Mile...

Driving to Lancaster early tomorrow to have my front right wheel well cover replaced for $45 part and labor... Went to Auto-zone tonight to buy a wheel socket and torque wrench... i'm thinking 90lbs is about right... Also planning to ride with Tony this Sunday and then iHop after... hopefully no rain this weekend...

Was planning to ride with Tony this morning but roads were wet and still drizzling outside... we will try next weekend.... will probably do some detail cleaning inside the car today with Q-tips and toothbrush...

Took Yoshida ( Finally came up with a name for the car ) to the car wash this morning... one of the car attendants had no idea what it was but liked it... ended up chatting with two guys there for 10 minutes about the car... Then took it through Mulholland and the 23 ... was being chased by a yellow Ferrari and a Fiat Abarth... lots of fun, but I enjoy doing the chasing better... gave the Ferrari a thumbs up when we finished at PCH... stopped a few places to take some pics...
